in Youth Ministry for many years in, church settings, Fellowship of
Christian Athletes, and primarily his tenure with Young
Life. Marcus has a vision and dream to take young people into the Boundary
Waters, which originated during his college days at the University
of Minnesota. His dream and vision are for people to have a wilderness experience in which they will live well in the ways of the Kingdom of God, while being thoughtful and conversational about the things of Jesus.
After college, Marcus has gained relational business experience while
working for a communication-consulting firm in Saint Paul. Upon leaving
the firm, Marcus gained a Masters degree from Bethel University, during
which time he studied interpersonal communication, group process, and

ministry works, and how to improve on conventional wilderness ministry
