Cost
Group Size
 All trips have a maximum size of eight participants (U.S. Forest Service Regulations). This can be arranged how you prefer (one adult leader from your group and seven others, two leaders and six others, etc.). In addition to the eight people that you bring, we provide a ninth person - the BWX guide. If you are interested in bringing more than eight people - please do! We can operate many trips simultaneously. We can serve up to six groups per week (forty-eight people).
Cost
Weeklong Experience
The total trip cost is $2,900.
Adult Short trip - (Four Days)
The total cost is $2,500.
Payment for trips is broken into three equal payments. The first third is the deposit and is due as at the time of registration. The second and the final payment are spaced out between the registration date and the trip date.
Early Booking Discount
Groups who book trips for 2009, during the 2008 summer season can receive a $200 discount. Call us to learn more about this discount.

The Boundary Waters Experience (BWX) is particularly proud of our low price. We have worked hard to make this unique experience economical. Here is a comparison of our price to outfitters in the Ely area:
- $3,640 - Average price of eight outfitters for a non-guided trip.
- $8,200 - The average price of four outfitters for a guided trip.
We provide all of the equipment, planning, food, permits, a wilderness guide, AND, what the others do not offer -- thoughtful Spiritual content planning and facilitation. We do this for one third of the price of other guided trips. |
