BWX Trips
The Boundary Waters Experience (BWX) team works hard to bring you
the best possible wilderness adventures. Each expedition promotes community,
compassion, and personal growth in following God in the ways of Jesus
Christ. Here you'll find our latest challenging outdoor journeys suited
for the adventurous Christian spirit!
Weeklong Experience
This trip begins on Saturday and ends mid-day the following Friday. You will begin your trip by arriving in the late afternoon to our base camp. This first evening is spent as an orientation time for participants before they are put on the trail the following morning. After being served dinner and sleeping at base camp the first night, groups are dropped the next morning at an entrance to the BWCAW. After a full five and a half days of adventure, groups exit the wilderness mid-day on Friday and can be on their way back home after packing up and saying good-byes.
Short Trip
The Short Trip begins on a Saturday morning and ends mid-day the following Tuesday. Groups are asked to arrive early in the day on Saturday. Participants will receive a two hour orientation and will then be dropped at an entrance to the BWCAW to get the trip started right away. Participants will be on trail for the next few days experiencing God’s creation. On Tuesday groups will exit the BWCAW and will be on their way home shortly there after.
